The Main Thing

The main thing in life is to keep the main thing the main thing.

The most important thing in life is to keep what's most important the most important.

And that is to live each day of your life, empowered by the Holy Spirit, according to the Way God, through Jesus, has given to us in the Bible.

Of course, it will be most important to know the Bible, so we know what is most important, and fashion our way of life accordingly.

Each day is a new scenario, and presents new decisions as to what to do and say to keep the main thing the main thing.

Our lives change, because we change, people around us change, family, community, and world events change, and require us to continually evaluate what is the main thing to say and do in order to keep the main thing the main thing.

Only one life to live

I will soon be past

And only what's done

For Christ will last.

Do all the good you can,

In every way you can,

To as many as you can,

As long as ever you can.

Being a Christian is: Doing the right thing when no one is watching.
